SiteRead

Terms of use

Last updated: 20 October 2026

SiteRead is operated by Geo Solutions Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 49 799 303 710).

1. What SiteRead is

SiteRead reports are early screening tools compiled from public datasets. They're a starting point for investigation, not a professional assessment.

2. What a report is not

A SiteRead report is not a title search, Form 1 or section 7 search, survey, planning advice, legal advice, a Bushfire Attack Level (BAL) assessment, or a flood or engineering assessment. Get those from the relevant authority or a qualified professional before you make a decision.

3. Automatic reports and consultant review

Site screen reports are generated automatically from public data and emailed to you without being individually checked by a person.

Where you order a consultant review, a Geo Solutions Australia GIS consultant reviews the report and discusses it with you. The review interprets the same public data and has the same limits described in these terms.

4. Data limitations

Public datasets vary in age, scale, accuracy and coverage. A constraint not shown in a report may still apply. Each report lists the source and date of the data used.

5. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that can't be excluded. Where the law allows, our liability for a report is limited to supplying the report again or refunding what you paid for it.

6. Using reports

Reports are for your own use, or your clients' use if you're a professional subscriber. Don't resell or republish them in bulk. Source data stays under its original licence.

7. Changes

We may update these terms. The version on this page applies when you order a report.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of South Australia.
